The first location was Carter Carburetor, which is locked up and unable to be entered, so all I have of it are some exterior shots.

Then it was to the White Knight Diner for lunch. I had passed this place many times before and joked about it, assuming it was probably some hack-job of an eatery. Boy was I wrong...the food was delicious with a decent price (honestly tasted like Steak 'n Shake) and the owner was really nice and talked to us about the business for a while. I recommend a visit if you're in the area.

Next up was Powell Square, largely a skeleton of a building. The ground floor is a haven for the homeless. We talked to one guy, "Curtis," who simply asked we respect that people that lived there and to enjoy the view from all the floors, which we did. When we were heading out, he asked if we enjoyed our visit and the scenery, and welcomed us back any time we wanted.

Finally, and with time running out, we hit up the St. Mary's Infirmary. We only had time for a partial exploration of the ground floor, so we'll return in the future to get the whole complex. I initially had a bad feeling about the place after having walked inside, so we backed out for a minute. Next thing I know, there comes a guy with a bicycle out of the front "door." I approach him and introduce myself, and he says his name is Tim. Trying not to directly ask if he lives there, he assumes that's what I'm getting at and tells me he does. I asked if he cared we were there. He said it wasn't a problem, that people were always in there taking pictures and whatnot. He said three other guys lived there too, but wouldn't bother us if we were there, and that the police knew they were living there so we should be free to roam around. Only managed a few pics in the 45 minutes we were there, but here they are:
