But more along everyone else's lines... Two of my uncles and my cousin are firefighters.

My grandma retired from being a patron of the firehouse a few years ago, and they put our family name on one of the trucks to honor her. Pretty cool, right?
(BTW, my last name is not the same, she's my mothers mother).

The light at the end of the tunnel might be an oncoming train.
If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electical problem.
you only need two tools in life, duct tape and WD40. If it dosen't move and it should, use WD40. if it moves and it shouldn't, use duct tape.
someone has to set a bad exsample. :)

This was not uncommon to see at my house in Massachusetts:

And this was not uncommon to see at my house in Maine:

(Joking). That first photo though, is not really an exaggeration. Snowfall got pretty heavy in winter.

I assume you're referring to the second picture?
And I'm going to answer this seriously because I don't know if you are or not, but giraffes.

I finally looked through my pictures and I found the ones from my town's past 2 Labor Day Parades and I'm probably going to post the pictures of my town's emergency vehicles in 2 posts because my hometown has 5 fire departments and I took at least 2 pictures of each of their trucks during the 2010 parade. Add that to the 1 good picture of one of my town's police cars, the 3 or so pictures of my town's underwater search and rescue stuff, and 1 of the department's awesome trucks (from the 2011 parade), 1 post will be pretty long. Plus I don't have to patience to upload all of the pictures to photobucket in one sitting.
