Well after many many months of fussing with this old External HD, it gave up the ghost. It wouldn't even spin up, or anything. I should of uploaded them online a long time ago, but didn't consider it because my old HD was still working. I don't remember why I never posted any online, I guess I was afraid of someone stealing my images for their own... I've got a few places that I do plan to revisit, so I can take more pictures again.
This is a total bummer for me, came here to share my stuff and now I can't

That blows dude. I got a back-up Ex in case my upright hits the shitter. Cheap too, like $80.

You could also send it in to try for data recovery.

Hmm's I keep many drives... a few exterenal (TB's) and have 3 internal... but having a virtual dedicated server, can keep upload alot as well.

I lost a TON of photo's awhile back. Now I have 3 backup's of all my images.
Have camera, will travel.

yeah, that sucks, just about lost my Toshiba with my entire collection a month ago, thankfully it was a shorted wire and got a replacement at Walmart, I have had it for about 3 years with no issues.
