I was down in Lynchburg a few months back hoping to find some old buildings along the river but almost every one was being renovated, had several locks on it or just a ton of people where around. I did manage to take a few pics but mostly exterior shots. Would love to go back and do some more looking. Richmond is next on my list of places to go hunt around. Which reminds me I have pictures from the old Central National Bank in downtown Richmond that I should post. They had a art project going on one night and that place was very cool.
