Now you can tear a building down, but you can't erase a memory

Try turning your comp off completely, plug your camera in, then turn it back on. See if it sees it then.

Control Panel - Device Manager - click in the blank area - then VIEW - Show Hidden Devices

now look everywhere EXCEPT USB Controllers for your device (may not find ANY) and if you find
it RIGHT CLICK and UNINSTALL them all. The Device is your drive(s) or similar.

now go to USB Controllers and UNINSTALL EVERYTHING in the category but the category itself.

APPLY/OK

REBOOT

This will refresh the USB stack and hopefully allow the device to install.

Very nice set. Any history on the theater?

Also, was it upstairs? That building looks like it might have contained other establishments?

Designed by Minoru Yamasaki (same architect as the World Trade Centers).
Built in early-mid 60's, opened June 1966.

Originally had one large theater (seated roughly 1200 people) on the first floor and a fancy restaurant on the 2nd floor. Through the big bay windows on the 2nd floor, patrons could watch movies at the nearby drive-in (demolished mid-'85)

By the mid-80's, the restaurant had been removed and there were 3 very small upstairs theaters in its place (known as the penthouse theaters, i think they seated less than 200 people each) and the original auditorium which seated 1200 had been split into 3 separate theaters which were of an average size.

The theater closed in 2002, demolished last month.

Lots of good buildings built in the 60s demolished. I hate that.

I know, breaks my heart too. Good solid building, no expense spared. All of the little blue tiles in the photos were hand placed italian made... the glass was all italian imported and the chandeliers that used to hang in the lobby were swarkovsky (sp?) crystal if i remember correctly.

When the fuck did "just knock it down if it offends" happen?

Knock it down and put up some prefab building that hurts the eyes.

THat is such a shame, what the fuck is wrong with people? They don't build places with the personality of these old places anymore, am I the only one that thinks it makes more sense to renovate an old building than to knock it down?
