My friends and I are looking for a new place to go explore. We live in metro Detroit and willing to drive up to 50 mins away. Ideas? Suggestions?

Fancy Dan would be your best bet on this answer as he lives in Southeast Michigan!

A lot of the places I have been to are either not accessible anymore or demolished. One place even burned down!

He's looking for new places. I am not exploring so much since my legal issues because I'm nervous about what will happen next time.

Something happened with BobManPerson that either 1) scared the shit out of him or 2) scared the shit out of him. Either way, he was going to give it up entirely. His most recent posting was after a year at least of no urbex.

With the ordeal at the mall, I am still active in this hobby I am pursuing, getting arrested for trespassing and crap once won't prevent me from still pursuing this hobby I thoroughly enjoy, Hell I'm going out of state just to fulfill my needs to explore.

Course if a building has been neglected for more than 3 years, and becomes "run down" & isn't secured, I don't see how one could get arrested, obviously the state isn't worried about it until someone sets fire to it. It costs alot to tear it down as does to renovate it if a new buyer sees fit. But the country sites often stay standing longer than in the city.

Course now I have stepped up my game a bit. There is no need if caught by 5-0 or a security guard to stay and talk, I'm gonna flat out run. Betcha I can outdo them. Unless if they have a K-9, won't attempt it.

Like my friend Red says, you'll never stop. If its in you, you'll never just "stop" doing it.
