New Sweden lies on the outskirts of Idaho Falls, ID (the western outskirts to be exact.) I have explored the area and the school countless times, and I have decided to share this information with this forum! I will split this post up into two sections the first one being a description of he area and the school, and the second one being the best way to explore the area, and without getting into trouble.

Like I said before, New Sweden is located on the outskirts of Idaho Falls. The boondocks. It's practically in the middle of nowhere. When you pull up to the lot, you can almost see the setting before it was abandoned. It's a great feeling. The school is relatively big for being out in farm land, it has about 7 or 8 rooms (I think, don't quote me on this) and a gymnasium and a fairly large basement/boiler room. Perfect for an amateur looking for a decent building to explore. The only downside to it is that the only way inside is from the roof, and it can be a difficult climb if it's wet. The inside is completely empty except for some miscellaneous stuff, and some coal in the boiler room. The walls are "decorated" with different forms of vandalism (Mainly ones of the male anatomy) and can actually be comforting if one gets scared. There are some satanic stars on the walls and a big one on the ground in one room, but I am almost positive no one has performed any rituals in there.

Address: REMOVED, Idaho Falls, ID, United States

Google Maps Link: REMOVED

I have written up instructions for the best possible way to gain entry, and I have included a visual aid :)

REMOVED

NOTE:
At the time of posting, the entrance to the school has been boarded up. A team of abandoned structure explorers plan on re-gaining entrance into the school. I will keep you guys updated.

Not telling you what to do, but we usually don't post addresses and maps to the sites here in public. Normally just pics of the place so as to help protect it from vandals and others that would trash it and ruin it for the rest of us that just wanna look, Most of the time we will share that info in private with other explorers, to keep the place a bit protected.

He thrusts his fisted camera high
As he yells out his battle cry
His voice is strong and true

Like abandonedfreak said - addresses are kinda off limits here.

Pics are always welcome, though!
Now you can tear a building down, but you can't erase a memory
These houses may look all run down, but they have a value you can't see

Removed the addresses. We don't post them here, and the are against the rules.

Also, we don't condone breaking & entering, so if you plan to "regain access"... don't tell us that you did.

Share photos, stories, but please don't discuss breaking & entering.
How do I live without the ones I love? / Time still turns the pages of the book it's burned / Place and time always on my mind / I have so much to say but you're so far away

"its hard to call these buildings abandoned when we have all but abandoned them."

CRAZY? WHO are YOU calling CRAZY? YOU wouldn't KNOW CRAZY if CHARLES MANSON WAS EATING FRUIT LOOPS ON YOUR FRONT PORCH!
