Nice pics. :)

If you have some place in particular that you'd like to know about post it and if one of us knows where it is we'll pm you.

*any* abandoned mills in maine, I'm willing to travel.

As it turns out, those four pages of wool mill pictures are all from one mill- dr.cogswerks (credit to him) is a friend of mine! I'm getting information as to the location of that site from him now.
Looks like this place copied his post, photos and all. You can see him wearing a gas mask on the fourth page, heh.

Any chance you'd like to pass those directions along?

I've been in the factory that you linked, and while I'm not sure what type of factory it was...it was pretty cool. Not a whole lot of area to explore, and it's pretty graffiti'd up with some really crappy graffiti (just a bunch of swastikas and penises), and they very quickly board the openings up. I've lucked out the two times I explored, but the second time I had to crawl through a 2 foot hole in the side of the wall just to get in.

Hey, I live two hours from there. Let me know if anyone wants to check those out. Does Portland have anything to explore?

I just started Urb-Ex, would someone mind sending me the location of this wool mill? I live in Auburn. If anyone wants to go with me we could do that too.

Well it just so happens I used to live less than a mile from an old woolen mill! It was actually the first woolen mill built in the United States. It was called Mayall Mill and it was on Mayall Rd, Gray, Maine! I have visited it before but there is really nothing left. Just some foundation and it is in the woods! Kinda cool to see anyway!
