it was first constructed for railroad employees in the early 1900's, and closed in 1990. it was originally called the santa fe railroad hospital. thats all i can find for now, but i'll try to get some more info on it.

I know this is an old post. But, if it's called Linda vista I believe it was a seventh day Adventists hospital at that point.

it's a reality show on dicovery where they put people in a faux post apocalyptic setting to see if they can rebuild. it wasn't too bad, but i think they cancelled it. here's some more info.

I remember that show, the best part was when it was night or they got away from the base a group of 'bad guys' would come after them making all kinds of noise trying to get stuff from them. I don't think I watched more then one or two eps, but it seemed pretty interesting.
Have camera, will travel.

I saw the show. But there was another that was filmed here. It's not worth mentioning. I would love to get in here...should I make it to the west coast.

Well, I managed to make it to PA, so I'm sure if you REALLY try you can make it in this direction.
