I never take anything but pics. I might photograph paperwork I see but I leave everything how I found it.

yeah, like little things you just keep to yourself.
i got some stuff from fricks lock, im glad i did cause now its really hard to get in there.
i just keep everything in a box under my bed
Sweeter than wine
Softer than a summer night
Everything I wanna have
Whenever I hold you tight

This magic moment
While your lips are close to mine
Will last forever
Forever till the end of time

i was reading some of the stories about this place, and apparently its haunted.
now, i always take something from everywhere i go, as a souvenir, but i dont want bad shit happening to me because i took something.
even though theres nothing really there but bricks.
people have taken bricks and apparently have had REALLY bad luck.
but WHY would you take a brick?
thats not a cool souvenir!

Are you kidding? A brick is an AWESOME souvenir!

I don't take much from the places I'm in. I mean, I took some balusters from one house, but it was already completely destroyed by the time I got there so it wasn't a complete loss. I took some company notices from the one factory I was in, like a floor map and an employee directory, and some equipment manuals. I took all the keys to everything that were lying on a table too, does that make me a bastard?

i take small things also, like nothing major or anything that has to be broken off. i take paper work, articles, and other random nick nacks.
you got keys? bad ass! your not a bastard. its not like your carving a chunk out of the wall, putting it under your arm, and walking off with it. and besides, its better when an explorer takes something from the places, instead of some idiot whose just gonna trash everything.

There were plenty of abandoned cottages/buildings on the river, so when my dad was building our house, we needed some interior doors! There was this large 2 storey house, where we took 2 of the doors, and hauled them away in our boat. My dad always carried tools in the boat when 3we went on the river, just in case he found anything he needed.
Sorry honey!

Aww come on Sav...Dun be so hard on the bricks. They aren't so bad, and the place I work at was built on an old brick factory that I'm not sure when it closed but some around here make a big deal of getting their hands on an intact Hanley Brick. The only way I could see it being bad luck to have as a souvenir is if you have it on a shelf and it falls off on your foot or head [I have been hit in the head by bricks, not a good feeling] or if you have it laying on the floor and stub your toe. I do agree and have picked up on feelings that are attached to places, but I would say that is as far as I can go with haunting until I actually experience something.

When I visited the Central State Aslyum here in Indy, there was quite a few things I'd find that I wish I could take, but I don't take anything from any site I visit. Like the signs in the tunnels pointing the way to the different facilities on site.

I did grab a brick from the factory after the fire, wish I coulda got one from the warehouse too, I need to go back and see if its still locked down like Fort Knox

With it being my first schoolhouse, I should have taken a brick, just a innocent little brick.

The schoolhouse doesn't come with the haunted rep that Corpsewood comes with. You might have been safe. But even af was afraid to take a brick from the factory until it burned down, and then he couldn't get one.
