There are photos on this site of the Old County Jail in Lexington, KY but no location description. I would like to go there but need an address of sorts or nearby landmarks. I am new to this site so please excuse me if there is a page that gives locations (if so please do tell!). The building in the photos is only a portion of wall - so looks like an easy spot to take some photos... I have become slightly obsessed with the photography I have seen from urban exploration- but I'm afraid of angry people coming after me for trespassing... I recently was chased down by an older woman for taking photos of an old motel sign on the side of the road in front of her house.. she actually started banging on my car windows when I tried to leave! I can't imagine the craziness for actually going inside of a place like this! ..
HOuse I found very creepy and abandoned on the road going towards versailles from lexington, past keeneland and the castle on the left side of the road )this side road can be entered on the left beginning at an old church- it stretches alongside the main road and would take you to a civil war historic park/site.. the house is on your left.. some pics of the front of the house are here:

The old jail is off Old Frankfort Pike by the fire training center, down a small road that leads to the sewage treatment plant. As long as you don't go any farther then the old jail no one says anything.
The 2 links you have are dead, not sure what house you're talking about. I've been down US 60 quite a few times.

These are the pics of the house that vegas had posted.

I'd love to see the inside.
Also, check out vegas' album...good stuff there.

Now you can tear a building down, but you can't erase a memory
These houses may look all run down, but they have a value you can't see
